There were still bits and pieces, mostly rust which had to be done but thats all the budget I had. I had to leave the doors and trunk as it was, hopefully the time will come again.

No where near finish, but I wanted to know how it might look like so I asked the garage to hold it up for photo sake.

My heart was thumping, can't wait to drive it again.

As Ops said, there is another version which had an extra bit, so i tried to do that. This is the first attempt which had to be changed later.

Since its in the garage, I also changed the steering column to the later one so that it can fit fine spline steerings from E30 and E34.

This is the steering which came with the car, notice the coarse splines.

Since my old HKS tip no longer fits with the new rear, I had to chop it off and drive around without the tip for a few months, again because I had to save up some money.

I think the tail pipe is a little too small but what the heck, I'll change it later.

Its been ten years till the day of this photo since its been under my care.

It took years and lots of patience. The reason it took lots of time was because I could not spend big amounts all in one go. Every dime and time spent with it was worth it, although some of the parts are no longer on this car, its still one of my most precious prizes.

There goes more of my cash from lots of shifts and part time jobs. Can you believe that I actually skipped lots of classes to freelance several jobs so that I can pay for these bills. This toy came straight from Germany. Second hand from ebay.de was about 12,000 shipped almost complete set. Its now with one of our members.

For those of you who are stiill searching for one, don't give up. For those of you who got lots of problems with it, its not a fussy car, just needs proper maintainance. Its still a great car for daily use. There were several moments when I thought of selling this car but in the end I'm glad I didn't make that mistake twice.

There's still alot I need to learn from it, hope u enjoyed part of my experience.
