A lot of your engine's horsepower can be wasted simply by making it work extra hard to spin up the rotational mass on the flywheel. Reducing the flywheel weight increases horsepower at the drivetrain, and also makes the throttle more responsive. Our lightweight aluminum flywheels are designed to reduce as much rotational weight as possible, increasing performance without sacrificing drivability. The flywheel has a replaceable heat-treated steel friction surface that aids in heat dissipation, and also increases friction. All rivets and fittings are manufactured out of stainless steel for strength and resistance to corrosion.

The SACHS Power Clutch is designed for 911 owners who both drive their car on the street, and race it on the autocross track on the weekend. The pressure plate is manufactured out of aluminum for lower rotating mass, and is also designed for increased clamping force. At only about $100 more than the stock kit, this is the Pelican Recommendation for clutch upgrades on the 1974-86 911. Kit includes pressure plate, clutch disc, and throw out bearing.
