A humble Ford 302 Block ; Plus Sealed Power pistons, SpeedPro camshaft ( 290-300 adv.duration , .472 / .496 lift , 112 Lobe center ) Manley valves, Weiand intake manifold, Mallory Dist. and custom shorty exhaust manifolds etc.

Plus ; all moving & vacumn parts are new ie. Oil pump , fuel pump, timing chain . etc.

Cylinder heads are of Ford 302 and have gone through ported & polished exercise. ( It’s a hard job, as they are not soft aluminum, but one has to do it ! )


Here is an all-over silver spraying work , so that the whole engine should have a matching aluminum effect along with the aluminum crank case ( Cal Mustang ) , Intake manifold ( Weiand ) … and , later on, the Valves covers ( Cal Mustang ).

Usually, the Ford’s Water neck would come out straight or to your left.

Well, yours truly’s came out to your right and made out of stainless steel, another custom piece of art !

( No thermostat in this new water neck, as in Bangkok heat, you run the engine for only a few second and temp climps up fast ! )

The Readings ; L. to R. Vacumn not in use, Alternator charges well, Water temp is too cool ( but that’s for now as when the FANGs is actually on the road, the temp would be higher ) and oil pressure is right up there…thanks to the new oil pump !
 
 
 

 
 
 
 
 
Manifold vacumn is read separately, the gauge’s GREEN area represents the OK range. You probably won’t hear the Ba-rup…ba-rup…ba-rup from idling…but you’ll safe hitting the notorious Bangkok traffic.

Note on Exhaust System : There are…Custom shorty Primary / Headers + 2.5” Secondary + 8” Long Flex hose ( to reduce vibrations and resonance ) + 2.5” Runner pipes + FlowTech “ AfterBurner “ Mufflers + 3” End Pipes = All for One Mellow Sounding !

The Flairs & Stance

 

I have a friend who was interested in knowing how I went about with the flairs and stance. I thought this might be of benefit to the community, so here’re the story & pics ;
 
 
I had a few sets of wheels & tires, what you see here is one of those sets that was close..almost got chosen….. ( They were OK until later on… )
 
 
 

 
 
 
 
 
 
Then I made templates.. made out of soft tin sheet…cut to my design……( The no-hole wheels were used just to measure up ! )

Body flairings were shaped in that direction… then bondo-smooth without L shape on the flair rim…..
